GENERAL COURSE INFORMATION
Applicants to become a real estate sales associate in Florida must first complete an approved 63-hour prelicensing course and pass the end-of-course exam. This course has been prepared by highly regarded experts in the field. Upon successful completion of the course, applicants will have satisfied the educational prerequisites for taking the state licensing exam. The online course is self-contained in terms of course materials and the end-of-course exam. No additional materials are required to complete the course. Students, however, may wish to obtain an appropriate textbook to supplement the course. An internet connection is necessary to access course materials. We will issue a completion certificate following passage of the end-of-course exam. The certificate is required by the State of Florida prior to taking the state licensing exam. Only a licensed real estate school may offer this course and certify completion and satisfactory test results to the State of Florida. Sales associates who are licensed in other states must review the rules of the Florida Real Estate Commission to determine if they meet reciprocity requirements.
